Those children who have good eating habits grow well. For your kids the childhood phase proves to be the formative years and what they eat now will reflect in their youth. To keep your kids intake of nutrition level proper and sufficient, feed them with variety of food, involve them in various physical activities to balance the food they eat. Include plenty of grains, vegetables and fruits in their diet. As the kids are in their growing age their diet should be rich in iron and calcium to meet their growing body requirements.
Keep your kid’s diet low in respect to fats, saturated fats, cholesterol, sugar and salt. It is very difficult but will help prevent your child becoming overweight. It is very difficult to implement these habits in your children. But some good efforts will definitely get paid off in the end. Avoid high calorie desserts, snacks, soft drinks and ice creams at the first place; no doubt they are very tempting but at the same time can be harmful for your kids in the long run.
